Fixing things

A problem of above lamp - when it fails you don't know which part is broken - starter or lamp itself. Is there a some way to find out without spar? I wonder...

Perhaps this should help:

:)

How many Darth Vaders does it take to screw in the lamp? :)

Well, there's only one Darth Vader, so it should rather read as "How many Sith Lords does it take to screw in a light bulb?"

Two. There are always two of them.

Borrow a starter or lamp from another fixture.

If only one, replace starter first, as it is cheaper.

Aye - my line of thoughts exactly. Now I have a spar starter waiting for the next malfunction. Most probably I will leave the apartment before it happens :)
