Internet access isn't war safe :(

My Internet provider - Netvsion - had major @#$@-out due to power outage in Haifa where their headquarters are.

I can say what I think about ISP provider without generator in their main facility. But it doesn't matter. What does matter is that today I am lucky that my friend choose a different ISP.

Internet provider have all traffic routed thru its HQ? Strange solution anyway...

Well, in small country it is possible. I don't know how they routed, actually, but I know from their announcement that their tech support was paralyzed by outages and following system crash. Took them 3 hours to get it back.

On other hand they probably have generators. But mass disconnect-reconnect during outage in the city + reduced tech support staff just pulled the system down.
