Let's also skip the fact that with all these rightist soldiers IDF moved settlers out of Gaza without any major incidents. Let's forget that Liberman's right "Russian" party is a part of the present coalition that negotiates the bloody peace.

You know, Bill, may be you don't need to look that far searching for a scapegoat. The utter fail of the "New Middle East" was on your duty. How about using a mirror?

Probably to make that fraction of electorate happy? There is a (possibly significant) number of liberals who vote for democrats and who are not happy that all mainstream democrats are pro-Israel. Maybe it is ex-presidents official duty to their party to speak to the needs of their electorate which for obvious reasons can not be addressed while in the office.
