EU poll: Israel greatest threat to world peace

Fifty-nine percent of Europeans say that Israel is a larger threat to world peace than North Korea, Iran or Afghanistan, according to a European Commission survey of approximately 7,500 Europeans, scheduled to be made public on Monday.

The one socio-demographic characteristic that stands out is education – the more highly
educated respondents (66%) are more likely to perceive Israel as a threat to world peace
than those who ceased their studies at an earlier age (“16-20”: 59% and “15 and
younger”: 50%).
