Vanunu, who converted to Christianity in the 1980s, was escorted into St. George's Cathedral in east Jerusalem by the chief pastor of the Anglican Community in Israel, Bishop Riah Abu El-Assal.
"He is an Anglican Christian and expressed his desire to offer thanks to God for his release from prison as his first act as a free man," El-Assal said in a statement to reporters who flooded the church courtyard.

I hope Anglican church will prosper out of this nice addition to its flock.
