Some good news for a change
Sep. 17th, 2007 04:39 pmIsrael non-cellular phone network fixed one of its most annoying problems.
Only a year ago, dialing an area code when calling from the same area (like calling 02-123456789 in Jerusalem - area 02) resulted in error signal.
Now the system recognizes it and connects you to the number. Easier to set up faxes. Easier to call from friends. Easier to configure phone & fax numbers lists used in several areas simultaneously.
Wish they did it five years ago, though.

Скажем, на почте стали присылать СМС вместо уведомления о вручении заказных писем. Очень удобно. Но обратил ли я на это внимание? Нет - ворчу по поводу того что обычные письма перестали нормально и предсказуемо доходить.
