As I always told. Internet can empower only society that, at least, half used to free expression. But for old-style vertical hierarchies, introduction of free communication and free exchange of ideas is destructive.
Yes, they got new technology free, without astronomic expenses that West spent on developing, but in their hands it turns poisonous.
