As usual Israel lost its bid on hosting Winter Olympics... Hell - unlike of these bloody Russkis we fought a war to get our only snow patch and another to keep it. And we have the highest number of freezers and conditioners per capita in the world. Where is the justice, I am asking?

Курская команда КВН еще с год назад зубоскалила примерно по этому поводу - "как это по русски - в стране, где половина территории приходится на вечную мерзлоту провести зимнюю олимпиаду в субтропиках".

Well, that's too bad. I would LOVE to attend a Winter Olympics in Israel! Heheheheh. That would rock. (And if anyone's scientific community can find a way to make snow, I'd bet on Israeli scientists to do so. Whenever there's some weird & useful new discovery, I'm never surprised to see Israeli scientists mentioned. It's a big source of pride out here in galut.)
