China is a post-communist bully country. Country where a confession of anti-government activity and plea for mercy in a court of law is totally OK. Country that expands its borders at every opportunity. Country that never ever come close to giving a political independence to any minority under its rule. Country with a burning memory of the national humiliation in the past.
One should be very careful dealing with it. One should be an idiot to rely on it.
