Ambassador Pedro Comissário Afonso, Permanent representative of Mozambique and President of the Security Council for the month of May, invites all those present at the meeting to observe a minute of silence requested by the Russian Federation, China and Algeria and on behalf of all members of the Security Council, in the remembrance of the loss of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi of Iran, and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian.

Our condolences to the people of Germany for the death of Deputy Protector of Bohemia and Moravia, President of Interpol, and Director of the Reich Security Main Office Heydrich, who perished in the car crash.
