Finally took time to watch "Six String Samurai". Funny. Especially because I can catch most Russian connotations too.

But it should have been made a half-hour shorter, IMO.

So many things in modern art are set by a market requirements, by a genre requirements, by a community cliches... and we have balls to claim we are far from midieval times when all art was applicative...

Modern situation with market requirements seems to be the same in any area - take cellphones or drinks, the art is not something outstanding. But even in medieval art we can recognize small hints of the same issue with cliches and requirements - different from today, but maybe not so small if we could get closer to that situation. I'm trying to take it easy. And the annotation at IMDB looks so funny...
