arpadMany people think copyright is just a power game of big bad corporations. It isn't so. Copyright is the only way to ensure creators productivity. By the way, Muslim tradition is very weak on copyright issues.
There are lots of bad examples of corporation behaviour. DvD zone concept is one of them. Inflated price on music CD is another. But "Napster" is not an answer. I wonder what the answer can be, though...
But if you use stolen software - at least don't feel proud about it :)

The United States has taken Israel off its worst list of copyright pirates, the US Embassy said Thursday, while demanding more action to stop thievery.
An embassy statement said Israel was moved from the "Priority Watch List" to the "Watch List," noting that Israel has "increased its budgetary, educational, police and judicial resources ... yielding concrete results."
However, the United States is demanding a further crackdown. It charges that Israel is lagging behind other countries in passing legislation to protect data exclusivity, which applies primarily to the highly competitive pharmaceutical market.
Also, the embassy statement complained that Israel's new copyright law exempts corporate end-users of pirated computer programs from prosecution.
